Overview
Wolfpack Basketball’s website, built end to end at Ordinary Agency and launched in 2023 — I owned the project from initial architecture decisions through build, launch, and ongoing post-launch iteration, while also leading the agency’s web development team.
Wanneroo Basketball Association — home of the Wolfpack — runs competitions and programs from grassroots and WABL juniors through to NBL1. The site is the association’s front door for players, parents and coaches: fixtures, results and ladders, programs, and club news.
My role
- Architected the build and owned delivery from kickoff through launch
- Continued iterating on the site post-launch as requirements evolved
- Balanced this project with team-lead responsibilities — scoping, code review, and delivery across concurrent client projects
Stack
Gatsby (React) static front end, with competition data — fixtures, results and ladders — surfaced across the homepage and team pages.
Outcome
The site is live at wolfpackbasketball.com.au. Launched in 2023, it now serves as the association’s central hub, putting the latest scores and results on the homepage alongside news and sponsors.
